The countdown begins...

Sunday's maiden league outing for newly formed Chawton Athletic looms large, an away trip to Hartley Wintney should be a decent test of the newcomers.

Tuesday's "training" (in reality the same 4/5 a side kick about as per the previous 7 months) at the Sports centre was attended by unprecedented 13 people, so many in fact that Bob went back home. Some excellent looking new additions to the squad are starting to make the squad look actually very strong, well numbered and more importantly; well balanced.

Sadly I am so great with names that I can't remember many of the newbies name's, am fairly sure there was one Rich in there somewhere.

Roll on Sunday. 9:30am meet at Anstey Park. The AA route finder leads us a different way than I would have gone, but such is life.
